Purpose: This guide is meant to be an extensive cross-index of Anarchy Online resources.

Why Did I Create This? Ok, how easy is it to find things quickly when we're in the middle of the game? Or when researching things outside the game, to bounce between sites to find different explanations for something so we can compare different explanations to get a complete one that makes sense? Are finding broken links, pages/sites going down, totally different arrangements of sites and related issues frustrating? How often have we collected massive amounts of links and lost them due to reformats or not been able to find the one we want due to mass amount and being not well categorized? Or, had someone ask us about something that we know we have a link to but can't find while busy trying to prep for that alien raid? This is not meant to replace saving links to favorites, I still do. Now however they tend to be ones to be used in the present or near future. We don't have to be as worried about saving that link at level 20 that we won't use till we reach 180 and will lose between now and then. |

What's Included: Some links are redundant information at different locations to allow for different explanations of the same topic and to protect against links/sites going down. Obviously we don't want to swamp this site with too much redundancy or esoteric links so that is the criteria used in deciding what links to include. Forums are the best resource for more esoteric information see Role Playing and Community/Forums. This site is not meant to replace them, simply to provide a research tool to facilitate being all you can be. ;) |

Org Links: If you would like to include or update your organization in the list, use the email link above. Org leaders might want to provide a link to this site to new members as it gives a link to important information as well as to the org homepage and auno info. If the org updates their homepage, they only have to update this site rather than having to worry as much about updating all of their org members. On that same topic, sites that say no site are listed as such specifically because someone in the org told me such. A site won't be listed as no site simply because I can't find it. If you find you're org mistakenly listed then it means at least one person didn't know about your site. When asking about an org homepage I also ask they check the chat channel which means that there are often many in the org that don't know about the site or don't have a link to it. If it's unknown if an org has a website there will simply be an org name that isn't linked. We need to keep track of sites that we know don't have sites so we don't keep trying to find them. How are org links collected? Either by direct submission or by me personally talking with someone from the org at this point. I specifically do this to make sure the orgs are active at the time they were put in the list. If an org disbands or otherwise becomes defunct it would be helpfull if this site can be notified so I can update the list. This is to the benefit of the whole community if you can do this. I will check as I get a chance on different orgs if I notice they don't seem to have had any members online for an extended period of time but this is somewhat of a labor intensive task so it will be on a best effort situation. |

Getting Around: The backspace key is your friend. Since most links go right to a page, we can look at one site's explanation of something, hit the backspace key and select the next site in the list. Backspace will even take you back up to the menu if you go to a menu item and want to back up. (note: use delete key in Mac.) Control+Home will bring you to the top of the page and '/' in Firefox, Apple Key+F in Safari or Control+F in Internet Explorer will bring up the Find window. |
